    Day of Health and Wellbeing

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday14th August at our Day of Health and Wellbeing in aid of CANCERactive.

The rain did not put people off coming to support the event, so thankyou to everyone for putting up your brollies and braving the great British weather.

The day started with  Garry Andrews taking a Chi Kung session,  very simple Chinese exercises to improve the flow of energy through the body.

We even had to call in extra help from other therapists to cope with the amount of treatments requested – a huge thankyou to Richard and Sam for helping us out.

Janis was an amazing manager for the day, manning the shop and coordinating the appointments as well as helping the day before to set up and still there at the end to help clean up. Again a huge thankyou -what a fantastic friend!

We also had a range of fantastic talks held in the Jubilee Enterprise Centre Conference Room on Palmistry, Tarot, Reiki, Crystals and Healing Power of Foods.

A delicious selection of cakes were on sale made by www.homemadebylb.co.uk and because of the rain Basepoint centre manager Nigel Reed very kindly let us use his office for refreshments. My two lovely sisters manned the busy “cafe” .
